OUR MISSION
Miami-Dade Rescue Railroad was created in December 2003 to rescue and transport dogs and cats from a high kill local shelter, to no kill animal rescues and foster homes throughout Florida and the USA. Miami-Dade Rescue Railroad's sole purpose is to open the lines of communication that will allow the rescue of more of Miami-Dade's homeless pets. Currently over 500 homeless pets a week go through Miami-Dade Animal Services. Without rescue only 1 in 5 have any hope of survival. Since our inauguration, MDRR has transported and saved the lives of hundreds of dogs and cats.
